As the Philippines had faced the wrath of Typhoons Pedring and Quiel, among the areas that was extremely affected were Bulacan, Malabon and Pampanga. Being a Filipino, the sense of Bayanihan (Heroism) will always be there in order to reach out to those who are in need. Athletes from the Dragon Boat team who is also part of Philippine Army and the Dragon Warriors team use their strength and ability to reach out the residents Sagrada village in Masantol town in Pampanga who were affected and stranded by flood. The paddlers helped distribute relief goods in the evacuation center located on top of a dike.
The bayanihan spirit among the Filipinos is one of the things that makes the Philippines can easily stand up amidst of hardship and calamity.
