20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. Pictures brings Denzel Washington and Chris Pine together in the big screen in an action-thriller directed by Tony Scott – Unstoppable. The film will be shown in all cinemas nationwide beginning November 10.
Unstoppable is about the two train engineers Frank Barnes (Washington) and Will Colson (Pine) who is set to stop an unmanned long freight train carrying combustible liquids and poisonous gas enough to wipe out an entire city. “It (“Unstoppable”) also has the genetic code of the summer tent pole movie. It’s fun and action-packed. And it’s got some really interesting, complex characters to kind of anchor the whole thing. And Tony always talked about how the movie was like a train. Once it gets going, it just does not stop,” Pine shares.
The film is loosely based from the 2001 “Crazy Eights” incident where the CSX Transportation locomotive #8888, rumbled on a 66-mile journey through northwest Ohio with no one at the controls, due to the air brake not being applied correctly.
Unstoppable will be shown in all cinemas beginning November 10. The film is distributed by 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. Pictures.
