In line with the increase of demands for additional of food products in Starbucks, they introduce 6 new pastries and sandwiches. Diners and coffee lovers can now enjoy more their dining experience in the coffee shop while drinking their favorite blend or frappuccino with their friends, co-workers and family members. The six new pastries and sandwiches including; Tiramisu Cheesecake, Mango Peach Cream Pie, Coffee Brownie, Five Cheese Turnover, Chicken Buffalo Bleu and Chicken Galantina and Fontina Cheese on Pandesal. All the new food products are available in all Starbucks branches nationwide.
Tiramisu Cheesecake made with Starbucks VIA – it is a marriage of our favorite New York Cheesecake and tiramisu combined in one amazing dessert having the kick of coffee. This enhanced tiramisu cheesecake was made with Columbia Starbucks VIA, an instant brewed coffee of Starbucks enhancing the sweet taste of cheesecake, and the bitter aftertaste of the dark chocolate. Something to look forward to and share with friends after a hearty lunch or during snacks. It cost P120 per slice and P1, 250 for whole.
Mango Peach Cream Pie – kick the summer heat with a sweet and delectable pie made of our favorite fresh mangoes with thick chunks of peaches, covered rich vanilla pastry cream, topped with fresh whipped cream and drizzled with buttery caramel on a baked sweet graham crust. Best with brewed coffee while having a perfect late afternoon conversation with friends and co-workers during break time. It cost P110 each.
Coffee Brownie made with Starbucks VIA – Enjoy the sweet bitter taste of the moist, fudgy and rich brownie with the caffeine made by Columbia Starbucks VIA. Something I could take from Starbucks to my office table and enjoy munching it during work and have a spike of mild caffeine I needed in the afternoon. It cost P65 per bar.
Five Cheese Turnover – Enjoy the burst of cheddar, cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan and Emmental cheese with hints of Italian basil in every bite inside the golden brown, flaky, buttery puff pastry. The basil blends perfectly with the 5 cheese making every bite comforting and distinctively ddelicious. It cost P85 each.
Chicken Galantina and Fontina Cheese on Pandesal – Starbucks gives another way to enjoy your morning pandesal now that they filled it with moist and tender slices of chicken galantine, savory mushroom sauce and aged melted creamy Fontina cheese. Now you can enjoy pandesal anytime and anywhere you want it same with the chicken galantina that’s usually served during holidays and family get together. It cost P140 each.
Chicken Buffalo Bleu – Enjoy the chicken coated with fiery buffalo sauce, crunchy celery, juicy sliced tomatoes, fresh greens and piquant blue cheese dressing all wrapped in soft tortilla while inside the Starbucks with friends or while walking. This food is easy to carry while walking rushing to another meeting after dropping by at Starbucks for a quick lunch or snack. For me it’s already a heavy meal with all the protein and side dish inside it and compliments very well with the soft tortilla. It cost P140 each.
Among the six, my personal choice and best partner with my usual Starbucks Caramel Macchiato (both hot and iced) are Tiramisu Cheesecake, Coffee Brownie and Chicken Buffalo Bleu. I am kind of person who loves conversation over coffee and the best way to enjoy it with my friends and co workers is a sweet bitter taste in every bite of Tiramisu Cheesecake made with Starbucks Via to make every conversation alive and kicking. But of course with the nature of my work sometimes I need to rush for a quick snack or lunch, that’s why Coffee Brownie and Chicken Buffalo Bleu is something I can carry freely as I walk to my next meeting or on my way home but I need to fill in my stomach because of the long travel and having no dinner at all when I reach home.
All six food products of Starbucks is available in all their branches nationwide.
