On July 10, the elite University of Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP) will be opening at the Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City with De La Salle University will be the host school of the 73rd Season of UAAP. With the tagline Where Heroes are Made, the teaser created for the season opening shows creativity in terms of giving life to the school symbol.
Members of the UAAP includes De La Salle University (DLSU – Green Archers), Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU – Blue Eagles), University of Sto. Tomas (UST – Growling Tigers), Adamson University (AdU – Soaring Falcons), University of the Philippines (UP – Fighting Maroons), National University (NU – Bulldogs), Far Eastern University (FEU – Tamaraws), and University of the East (UE – Red Warriors). Ateneo Blue Eagles is the defending champion as season 73 opens on July 10, DLSU Green Archers’ biggest opponent.
