After the week-long vocal showdown among the Quarter 3 semi-finalists of It’s Showtime Tawag ng Tanghalan Year 2, Tuko Delos Reyes of Aurora and Sofronio Vasquez of Misamis Occidental are the newest singers to advance to the grand finals.
Tuko recorded the highest combined score of 95.95% from the madlang people text votes and judges’ scores, while Sofronio garnered 87.57%.
The two new grand finalists bringing home P150,000 each.
Tuko and Sofronio will join other six grand finalists of Tawag ng Tanghalan namely Jovany Satera at Alfred Relatado of Quarter 1, Anton Antenorcruz and Remy Luntayao of Quarter 2, and global grand finalists Steven Paysu and Makoto Inoue.
Meanwhile, Q3 semi-finalists who didn’t advanced in the grand finals include Ato Arman of Bukidnon, Charles Kevin Tan of Negros Occidental, Lalainne Araña of South Cotabato and Boyet Onte of Batangas.
Starting February 5, Tawag ng Tanghalan will start their search for the Q4 contenders.
Tawag ng Tanghalan is a reality singing competition within It’s Showtime that airs on ABS-CBN, Mondays to Saturdays at noontime.
