In line with the arrest of former matinee idol Mark Anthony Fernandez last October 3 in Angeles City, Pampanga due to alleged possession of 1 kilogram marijuana that was found inside his car, his uncle Robin Padilla posted a message in his verified Faceebook account that he is thanking God that Fernandez is alive. Padilla is the cousin of the late action star Rudy Fernandez, Mark Anthony’s father. According to Padilla’s Facebook post he said that Rudy would not be able to forgive them if something worse happened to Mark Anthony.
Robin was scared on what might happen to Mark Anthony especially with the news on the killings of drug users and pushers after they allegedly fight back.
Padilla thanked God he is alive at the same time thanking PNP Director General Ronaldo Bato and the Angeles City authorities for the humane arrest of Mark Anthony.
Meanwhile, Grae Fernandez, Mark Anthony’s son already showed his support and love to his father who is currently detained in the Station 6 of Angeles City Police. The case of Mark Anthony is non–bailable after allegedly violation RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 1992 whereas he was charge with transportation of illegal drugs, possession of illegal drugs and paraphernalia and use of dangerous drugs.
Fernandez claimed that he is using it to prevent cancer.
Aside from Fernandez, former sexy stars Krista Miller and Sabrina M were arrested on separate anti-drug operations.
