Last night, ABS-CBN made a record in social media for having two shows reaching millions of tweets last night (August 10) in Primetime Bida. The top-rating teleserye Pangako Sa’Yo that stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla together with Angelica Panganiban, Jodi Sta. Maria and Ian Veneracion reached 1.64M tweets with their hashtag #PSYPagtuwidSaNakaaraan. The episode last night follows the plan of Angelo played by Daniel wanting to clear his name and wanted to correct what he did before, while Yna played by Kathryn became friends with Bea Bianca (Sarah Carlos). The episode also follows Eduardo (Ian) trying to have deeper conversation with Amor (Jodi) about their past but Claudia (Angelica) tries to stop them. This is one of the trending hashtags of Pangako Sa’Yo that got million tweets including #PSYBatasNgApi and #PSYYnaAtAngelo.
Meanwhile, the first ever teleserye of James Reid and Nadine Lustre that debut last night entitled On The Wings Of Love also trended on Twitter with 1.42M tweets for #OTWOLArrival. The series follows the journey of Leah and Clark. Leah need to go to US to work to earn for the family and she will meet Clark that will enter an arrange marriage in order to benefit one other and let Leah earn her green card.
