After getting positive feedback from the netizens with 500K tweets on the pilot episode, the iconic scene where Amor promises that she will avenge for her family against the Buenavista or the “batas ng alipin” now “batas ng api” aired last night in Pangako Sa’Yo. The official hashtag #PSYAngBatasNgApi trended on Twitter with 1.21M tweets from the viewers and both trended on Philippines and worldwide. The viewers applauded Jodi Sta. Maria in her remarkable portrayal of Amor together with her fellow actors Angelica Panganiban as Claudia and Ian Veneracion as Eduardo.
Aside from trending last night, Star Creatives the producer of the show officially released the national ratings of the show whereas the episode gained 36.4% versus GMA 7’s Let The Love Begin. ABS-CBN, continuously defeating the GMA in the said timeslot together with the rest of Primetime block with the shows Pasion de Amor, Nathaniel and Bridges of Love.
