Keeping us hanging with the scene that Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano embracing each other as Xander and Agnes in the last Thursday of Forevermore, we are still thinking what will happen in the finale of the show. This was the same question we raised during the last 2 episodes of The Legal Wife of Angel Locsin, Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales on what will be the ending of the show. We keep on asking will it be a happy ending for Xander and Agnes but what will happen to Jay (Diego Loyzaga) and Alex (Erich Gonzales) which became Agnes and Xandes new love in the series.
Jay became Agnes’ refuge when she thought that Xander abandoned her for Kate (Sofia Andres). While Alex made Xander whole again after Agnes broke his heart after doing everything to patch things up from the Project Time Machine up to the La Presa Eco Park plan.
So I end up making 3 versions of the ending of the Agnes and Xander story:
1.After the cold night of being lost in the mountain, Xander and Agnes discovered that they still love each other and give another chance to each other. Because Jay loves Agnes, he will let go Agnes which Alex will be doing the same thing for Xander.
2. That cold night where Xander and Agnes embrace each other will be the night they will have their closure. Agnes and Xander will put end on their love to each other and will continue their relationship to Jay and Alex respectively.
3. They will have closure but it doesn’t mean that they will go back to their current relationships. They will end their relationship with Jay and Alex, Agnes and Xander will become friends but who knows that they their heart will beat again for each other.
The road to forever will be like the long and rough like the road going to La Presa where it all started. No one knows what will be the ending until the May 22 episode, which we are all hoping it was truly worth it to keep holding on the series that became part of our lives for several months.
