Opening on September 2, New Line Cinema brings a comedy film staring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate entitled Vacation that will take the moviegoers on a road trip filled with adventures that they will never forget. Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley direct the film.
Wanting to have a perfect family bonding, Rusty Griswold (Helms) decided to have a road trip with his wife Debbie (Applegate) and his two sons going to cross-country trip back to America’s “favorite family fun park,” Walley World. On the road there will be surprises that awaits them and some familiar faces including Audrey (Leslie Mann), Rusty’s sister, and Stone Crandall (Chris Hemsworth), Rusty’s irritatingly successful brother-in-law.

Joining the fun are Skyler Gisondo, Steele Stebbins, Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo. The Vacation is written by Goldstein & Daley and based on characters created by John Hughes. Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment company, will distribute the film.
