Another former housemate of Pinoy Big Brother wears the crown of Miss World Philippines and that is Valerie Weigmann that was crowned last night in SM Mall of Asia Arena and outlasted 25 candidates. Valerie have a Filipino, German and Danish descent and currently 23 years old. She joined the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus that made her a ex-teen housemate. The edition aired in 2008 and her fellow ex-teen housemates include Ejay Falcon, Robi Domingo, and Beauty Gonzales. She was 2nd to the last evicted housemate before the announcement of Big 4.
Aside from winning the Miss World Philippines 2014, Valerie also won special awards including Best in Long Gown, Best in Swimwear, Best in Fashion Runaway, Miss World Camsur, Miss Solaire, Miss Figlia, Jessie Mendez Salon Ambassador, Miss Reducin, Miss Bluewater Day Spa, Miss Bench, Miss Olay and Miss Hana Shampoo.
Other winners include Miss World Philippines 2014 1st Princess Lorraine Kendrickson, 2nd Princess Nelba Ibe, 3rd Princess Nicole Donesa and 4th Princess Rachel Louise Peters.
Valerie succeeded Megan Young who was also an ex-housemate of Pinoy Big Brother during the 2nd edition of Celebrity. Young is currently the Miss World title holder. Valerie will be competing on December 14 for the 2014 Miss World which will happen in ExCeL London in England.
