Now that Lea Salonga has Darlene Vibares and TonTon Cabilesto in her team while Kamp Kawayan of Bamboo has Juan Karlos Labajo and Edray Teodoro to represent him in the semi-finals of The Voice Kids Philippines, it was Sarah Geronimo’s turn to purge her 18 team members and bring out the best two. From the first half of the battles who will be moving to sing-offs are Gab Gomez, Darren Espanto, Diana Agustin and Lyca Gairanod.
During the competition, Gab defeated Musika Caubang and Mitz Tanguilan during their performance of A Thousand Miles, while in the round of future heartthrobs where they perform What Makes You Beautiful Darren defeated Sam Shoaf and the twins JM and JC Urquico. In the round of future belters Diana took the crown after singer her hearts out of the song Better Days outshining Triscia Jumawin and Hannah Uganiza. And lastly the show stopper of the night was the Iisang Lahi performance of the small kids of team Sarah that has big voice with Lee Marcelino and Isaac Zamjudio but in the end Lyca emerges victorious.
On the next half of Team Sarah Battes, Don Angelo Santos, Twittle Dizon, and Earl Consolacio will be performing Dadalhin; and Khen Lobaton, Kyle Bernido, and Rica Ito will have a three-way battle with the song Telephone. Who will be the last two names that will complete the sing-offs round and immediate the top 2 of Team Sarah. Watch it on July 13 after Wansapanataym.
