In line with the fourth installment of Transformers movie that will be showing this June 27 in cinemas, Paramount Pictures unveils the first trailer of Transformers: Age of Extinction that was directed by Michael Bay. The action sci-fi film based from the characters created by Takara Tomy and Hasbro stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Kelsey Grammar and Sophia Myles. The film follows the box office success of the first three Transformers film including the recent Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
The film will pick up four years after the catastrophic events in Chicago; Earth has mostly recovered from the Great War between the Autobots and the Decepticons. But when Cade Yeager (Wahlberg), a struggling inventor, and his daughter, Tessa (Peltz) discover Optimus Prime, they bring down Decepticons, Autobots and the US government on them. Meanwhile, the film will also give movie goers a glimpse of the Dinobots, subgroups of robots under the Transformers Universe whose transformed mode is that of a dinosaur or similar prehistoric animal.
