Following the iconic story of Galema: Anak ni Zuma created by Jim Fernandez, ABS-CBN also included the character of Dean played by former teen housemate and now Star Magic artist Kit Thompson. He will be the third mystical creature in the story along with Andi Eigenmann as Galema the protagonist of the TV series and Derrick Hubalde as Zuma the antagonist. Already more than three months on the Kapamilya Gold timeslot of ABS-CBN, it is directed by the box office director Wenn V. Deramas.
Also the child of Zuma, Dean Evangelista can transform to snake like character with scales of a snake but darker which is opposite to his father and sister who has two headed snake rested on their shoulder that talks. Also opposite from the comic book where his name is Dino it was showed that he is not human snake but with human body and dinosaur head. In the comic book story he became an ally to Zuma until Galema persuaded him. In the TV adaptation will be Dean on Galema’s side in the future to end their father’s wrath or will he be another enemy for Galema who already embraced humanity even though she encountered judgment from those still see her as a monster. Galema: Anak ni Zuma also stars Matteo Guidicelli, Bryan Santos, Meg Imperial, Sheryl Cruz, Sunshine Cruz, Carlos Morales, Lito Legaspi and Divina Valencia.
