Happening on November 23 at the Matina Town Square Pavilion, SMART Communications Inc through their SMART Bro group will be having a benefit concert for the affected families of Super Typhoon Yolanda in Central Visayas. The concert is free and at the same time it will be the collection point for in-kind and cash donations for Davaoeños who wanted to send their contributions on the on-going relief efforts of HelpPH where Philippine Disaster Recover Foundation (PDRF) and partner multi-sector stakeholders are working on the aid and relief efforts.
Tagged as the Smart Bro Live and Loud concert, it will feature two Smart Bro brand ambassadors Rico Blanco and Barbie Almalbis along with other bands that will make the concert for a cause fun and memorable at the same time. It will start at 6PM and aside from the in-kind and cash donations there will be bidding where Smart Bro devices and exclusive rockstar memorabilia owned by the Smart Bro endorsers, including an acoustic guitar and a dress worn by Barbie in one of Barbie’s Cradle’s music videos, a premium wristwatch owned by Rico, and a classy jacket from Raimund Marasigan. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this auction will likewise be remitted to Alagang Kapatid Foundation.
