Aside from the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, Apple also releases the new iPad Air that will give their loyal followers go wild this holiday season. The new iPad model was unveiled October 22 (Oct. 23 Manila Time) at the San Francisco and the announcement was done by Phil Schiller. The iPad Air together with the new iPad Mini with Retina will be available this November for shipping and regional Apple authorized stores until the end of the year.
iPad Air powered with the iOS 7 operating system with the A7 chip with 64-bit architecture and M7 motion coprocessor. By here’s the catch it weighs only 1 pound even it looks like the usual iPad but thinner. Still has the 9.7 inch display with 2048 x 1563 resolution and 3.1 million pixels. Available in Space Gray and Silver finish also in WIFI and WIFI + Cellular (LTE/3G) with memory capacity from 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.
In terms of battery life it now extends to 9 to 10 hours on both WIFI, cellular, video and music streaming. For camera it has 5-megapixel iSight camera that’s capable of shooting 1080p video and larger pixels and backside illuminated features for better image quality when using FaceTime. US, UK, China, and Japan will be the first few countries to enjoy the iPad Air and the rest will be before the end of the year.
