Less than two months before the release of Man of Steel in all theaters nationwide beginning June 12, Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures officially release the main trailer of the Superman movie that stars Henry Cavill and directed by Zack Snyder. The film is a reboot of the Superman character that was based from the work of Jerry Siegel Joe Shuster with the same name.
Man of Steel recollects the transformation of Kal-El from a baby that was brought in the Earth from the dying planet Krypton and adopted by Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner) and became the person we all know as Clark Kent (Cavill). From the time he discovered as powers and his roots that he is the son of great Jor-El (Russel Crowe) to his choice to become the beacon of hope in the world being terrorized by General Zod (Michael Shannon) and his team and wanting to rule it.

Man of Steel also stars Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix, Michael Kelly, and Richard Schiff. The film is produced by Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder.
The screenplay was written by David S. Goyer, from a story by Goyer and Nolan, based upon Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and published by DC Entertainment. Thomas Tull, Lloyd Phillips and Jon Peters are the film’s executive producers. It will be available in IMAX 3D, Digital 3D and regular format.
