After getting a big leap on the first day of release in all cinemas last Black Thursday (March 30) and tripled on the fourth day, Star Cinema officially announces that the romantic comedy film directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and written by Carmi Raymundo now earns Php 300M in two weeks.
Graded “A” from the Cinema Evalutation Board (CEB), It Takes A Man and A Woman gives a seamless and almost perfect presentation of the journey of Laida Magtalas and Miggy Montenegro who encountered separation and needs closure from the all the trials and pain that they encountered in their relationship. Now with Isabel Daza in the cast as Belle, the new girl in the life of Miggy it will surely spice up the situation especially during Laida’s return to FlipPage and working with the guy she loved since she was 16.
It Takes A Man and A Woman now joins the list of the box-office films of Star Cinema including The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin and Sisterakas that earned more than Php 300 million. Meanwhile with the earning of more than Php 300 M, It Takes A Man and A Woman proven the box-office success of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz where they already showed in A Very Special Love (2008) that grossed Php 179.3 M and You Changed My Life (2009) that scored Php 225.2 M.
