The announcement was made official by the Vatican spokesman, Federico Lombardi that the pontiff will be relive his post at exactly 8pm in Vatican on Feb 28.
The reason for the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI is the strength of the Pope is longer adequate to fulfill his duties as the leader of the Roman Catholic faith.
