After the successful presentation of Lenovo of its flagship IdeaPhone K900 in the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show last January 8-11, the China-based electronics brand now announces the NBA Superstar Kobe Bryant to the be the face of their leading mobile products. According to David Roman, Chief Marketing Officer of Lenovo that their product is known for its cutting edge technology and letting their consumer create amazing things with it. He also mentioned that their partnership with Bryant epitomizes their brand objective by highlighting how our devices give someone as accomplished an athlete as Kobe Bryant, the tools to do more and to continue inspiring generations of fans around the world to pursue their dreams.
One of the products that will Kobe Bryant will be endorsing is their PC Plus devices that according to Lenovo it connects with Kobe in terms of leadership, endurance, speed and strength. Bryant is very excited to work with Lenovo. “I work to pursue excellence in all that I do, and I believe that Lenovo shares that brand DNA and is going to set itself apart as a technological leader for smartphones across Asia.” Bryant added.
Aside from China and Philippines, Lenovo is currently working on their expansion in India, Indonesia, Russia, Thailand and Vietnam since 2012 with plans for dozens more countries in 2013. Together these markets represent approximately 45 percent of the world’s population. Mobile products that Lenovo will be releasing this year include Android and Windows-8 devices, such as the IdeaPad Lynx, ThinkPad Tablet 2 and the IdeaPhone K900, a super-slim premium smartphone that blends with the ideal of design and performance in a 5.5-in IPS screen. It has one of the best camera arrays available in class and a super slim 9mm profile, all running on an Intel Atom processor.
