The much-awaited PSY: Gangnam Style Live In Manila Concert that should be on December 20, 2012 at 9PM at SM Mall of Asia Arena will be postponed and to be moved on February 2013 as announced by its promoters the That’s Ntertainment and Ovation Productions. In joint statement of Joed Serrano (That’s Ntertainment) and Renen de Guia (Ovation Productions) they said:
“The organizers of the Gangnam Style event on December 20, 2012 at MOA Arena collectively agreed to postpone the event to February 2013 due to logistical issues. Psy remains extremely excited about visiting the Philippines and looks forward to performing for his fans early 2013.”
There’s no exact date on February on when the PSY: Gangnam Style Live In Manila Concert will happen. As of now there’s no information yet if there will be a change in the celebrity guests that includes Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Wally and Jose, Pokwang, Chocoleit, Pooh, K Brosas, Ate Gay, and Ai Ai de las Alas. But the promoters ensured that those who already bought tickets for the concert of Psy can use it on the new date of his performance in MOA Arena on February.
Park Jae-sang or popularly known as the Korean singer Psy released a song entitled Gangnam Style where as his music vide uploaded on YouTube reaches over 968 million views on YouTube emerging as the site’s most watched video, dislodging Justin Bieber’s single, Baby, from the top spot. It is poised to reach 1 billion views before Christmas Day. His song peaked on Billboard’s YouTube Music Video Chart at No. 1 in early September and earned recognition from the Guinness Book of World Records as the most “liked” video in YouTube history.
