It will be the first time that Star for All Seasons and Governor of Batangas Ms. Vilma Santos will be doing a horror-suspense film in the 50 years of her career in entertainment industry. And with Star Cinema, she will be taking that bold step with the film “The Healing” that will surely show her versatility and great talent in acting from drama, comedy, romance and now horror that will really make everyone love her for her greatness as a multi-awarded actress.
Joining her in the film “The Healing” is the Primetime Princess Kim Chiu which is her personal choice to be working with on this movie. The horror-suspense film was directed by a multi-awarded director Chito S. Roño that is known for making box office horror films including Feng Shui, Sukob, Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara and many more. The Healing also marks Roño and Santos reunion after working in films Bata Bata Paano Ka Ginawa and Dekada ’70.
The film also stars Martin del Rosario, Pokwang, Mark Gil, Janice de Belen, Carmi Martin, Chinggoy Alonzo, Joel Torre, Daria Ramirez, Jhong Hillaro, Ces Quesada and Ynez Veneracion.
