Jobstreet.com, one of the leading online job finder in the Philippines will be conducting a 2-day job fair event at the SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City tagged as Jobgantic Career Fair 2012. It will be on June 22-23 and will be opening thousands of job offers from its different companies both local and overseas. Up to date there will be 300 employer booths that will accept applications, entertain questions and do on ground interviews that will be a possible job offers to some of the applicants who will be joining the job fair.
Big and multi-national companies joining the Jobgantic Career Fair 2012 include San Miguel Corporation, Ayala Land, Robinsons, Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Jollibee, PLDT and SMART, ABS-CBN, Petron Marketing and RCBC. While from the BPO side big companies including ADP Philippines, Accenture, Convergys, IBM, JP Morgan & Chase and Sykes will be accepting applications and at the same time on-site job interviews.
Aside from the employer-companies, jobseekers can also visit job assistance booths set up by concerned government agencies such as the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)—making the event a one-stop shop for jobseeker services.
For those who are already pre-registered in the Jobstreet.com can access the Fast Lane area. Last year the Jobgantic Career Fair spearheaded by the JobStreet.com gathered 220 exhibitors with a online pre-registrant count of almost 65,000 jobseekers and over 20,000 actual-day applicants who queued up to take their ultimate chance for a big leap in their career. And this year, their main goal is to reach 100,000 online and walk-in jobseekers all ready to grab their next big career break. Job offers included in the job fair event are general works and maintenance services, manufacturing, computer and information technology, building and construction, administrative and human resources and hotel and restaurant.
