After transferring to ABS-CBN, Paulo Avelino takes on a big leap of his career as actor after bagging the role of Nathan Montenegro in top rating teleserye Walang Hanggan. Aside from being part of the 100 Sexiest Men in the Philippines last year, Paulo receives his first acting award as Best Supporting Actor in the 2012 Pasado Awards for the indie film “Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa.” With his first acting award drives him to improve on his craft even more. “I have to raise the bar higher in terms of acting. With the award, I am more inspired to work harder and prove my worth as an actor,” Paulo said.
As Paulo celebrates his birthday on May 13, ASAP 2012 will be giving him a special number this Sunday with the Kapamilya leading ladies including Julia Montes, KC Concepcion and Kim Chiu. According to Paulo his secret to success is hard work and a lot of prayers. Never stop believing, never stop learning, and always stay humble. Of course, he is very thankful to the support that ABS-CBN gives him.
