In line with the celebration of the 100 years of Coca-Cola Philippines, the world’s largest beverage company partners with the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) to encourage the youth to involve themselves to sports and bring out the future PBA players inside them. Coca-Cola PBA Youngstars is the latest joint project of Coca-Cola Philippines headed by Ronnie Asuncion, Martketing Director Coca-Cola Bottlers and Powerade Team Governor and PBA Commissioner Chito Salud that is open to Filipino teenagers with the age of 13-16.
The Coca-Cola Youngstars will replace the Coca-Cola Hoopla and Batang PBA programs where as Coca-Cola signs a three-year contract with PBA to strengthen their dreams to bring out the MVPs and Star Players among the youth of today as they enjoy summer with a healthy and fun filled activity like sports.
According to Asuncion, they envision the Coca-Cola PBA Youngstars as a yearly activity of Coca-Cola and PBA that will promote sportsmanship and teamwork among the Filipino teens.
