After the long wait for the new Department of Tourism campaign with the newly installed secretary Ramon Jimenez, DOT officially unveiled the “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” tagline of Philippines’ tourism campaign. With the help of BBDO Guerrero the PR and Marketing Agency that take the lead in the creation of the project and Jimenez himself as an advertising person, the new campaign gain an overwhelming support and praises from the social media.

The campaign kicks off with the teaser #1forfun that trend on twitter the same day where the campaign was officially revealed to the public. The actual campaign (#ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines), DOT and Mon Jimenez trended as well. With the new logo that is simple but meaningful to all Filipinos where a yellow Philippine map in a colorful banig (mat) shows how colorful is the culture and traditions in the Philippines.

With the new campaign everyone is positive that it will drive more tourist to see the beauty of the Philippines, enjoy great food and be fascinated with the traditions and festivals that we had throughout the year. And I also hope that it also drive our fellow Filipinos to explore more the breathtaking sceneries in our country, learn more with our heritage and history and have that pride being a true Pinoy.
