It is the time of the year again where most of us wanted to be with our family and love ones. I am talking about Christmas where we wanted to have that Noche Bueana without thinking if what we will be having on that feast as long as everyone is complete on that table sharing those memories, laughter and of course love. But in reality some are not fortunate enough to celebrate Christmas with their love ones especially our fellow Filipinos working abroad and still they are trying their ways like in the internet to reunite with their family.
Recently Coca Cola launches the “Coca-Cola Where Will Happiness Strike Next: The OFW Project “ where it aims to reach out to our overseas Filipino workers and sent some of them home to celebrate Christmas with their family. Our lucky OFWs include Jose Marie Ballon an Ilonggo working in Saudi Arabia, Joey Doble a Kapampangan working in Italy and Leonie Villanueva who lives in Quezon City also working in Italy. They were separated with their love ones for almost 5 years or more and haven’t the chance to see their children grew.
Here’s the video of Coca Cola showing their reunion with their love ones.
I remember sharing this video to some of my friends and on my social media timelines. Their reaction were the same, the video was heart warming and strikes straight in the heart of everyone. I was teary when I saw the video for the first time and still is makes me cry and give me those goose bumps. Family is the core of that video, and that subject very close to hearts of everyone not only for the Filipinos but in any country. Coca Cola is not just a consumer product that aims to sell beverages to all occasions, but they believe in the importance of every events in the lives of everyone, and this time its Christmas and for them family matters.
