In line with the much-awaited annual Metro Manila Film Festival, Regal Films presents one of the hottest love teams of this generation, Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin—collectively known as FranSeth—in their first movie together and debut MMFF project, My Future You.
Written and directed by Crisanto B. Aquino, the romantic comedy film also features Almira Muhlach, Christian Vasquez, Peewee O’Hara, Bodjie Pascua, Mosang, and Izzy Canillo.
Set in 2009, the story follows Lex (Seth Fedelin), who stumbles upon a dating app that mysteriously connects him to Karen (Francine Diaz) in 2024. As their bond deepens, Karen urges Lex to help her change pivotal moments from her past to prevent her parents from separating. However, each change triggers unforeseen consequences, drastically reshaping their lives in unpredictable ways. With one final chance to set things right, Lex and Karen must decide if their love can withstand the challenges of time itself.
During the media conference, Director Cris shared that the inspiration for the film came during a quiet moment in his apartment when a conversation with a friend led him to imagine two lonely individuals connecting through a random chat, only to discover they were living in different timelines.
As for FranSeth, who began working together in Kadenang Ginto and more recently in the digital series Fractured, both actors expressed their excitement about being part of the Metro Manila Film Festival. They are especially thrilled to join the Parade of Stars before the festival begins and to meet fans during mall shows.
FranSeth fans can now purchase tickets in advance for the December 25 screening via the SM Cinema app.
