In the latest “Making of a Villain” vignette from Kraven the Hunter, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson reveals how his character Sergei Kravinoff evolves into the notorious villain. He shares his experience with stunts and training for the role, alongside commentary from director J.C. Chandor.
Watch the redband vignette:
“I’m lucky to do the stunts—old school, real, raw. Running barefoot through the streets of London, flipping, running off walls to capture that authenticity,” Taylor-Johnson says. “Kraven’s not a superhero. He’s a man trained to be a skilled hunter and killer.”
Director J.C. Chandor adds: “Kraven has a bloodlust he seems to enjoy. There’s a justification for it, and that feels good. But he’s an inconsistent, ethically compromised individual—yet you still find yourself rooting for him.”
The hunt begins when Kraven the Hunter hits Philippine cinemas on December 11.
