Today, Korean-American entertainer, singer-songwriter, and actor Eric Nam has officially released his highly anticipated new album, titled “House on a Hill.”
This album is a profound exploration of the concept of happiness, delving into how individuals define it and what truly brings joy to their lives. Included in the album release are previously unveiled singles, namely “Don’t Leave Yet” and the album’s title track, “House on a Hill.” Notably, upon its release, the title track received critical acclaim and earned a spot on ROLLING STONE’s coveted “Songs You Need To Know” list.
What sets this album apart is the collaborative efforts of Eric Nam with UK-based artists HONNE and Oh Wonder, as well as his longtime collaborator and producer, Rabitt, who contributed to the musical direction of the album.
Eric Nam reflects on the significance of “House on a Hill,” stating, “This album represents the culmination of 10 years of my journey as a musician, drawing from my experiences and knowledge of creating not only music but also audio-visual content for what is arguably the most important project of my entire career. In many ways, this album serves as a musical existential crisis, as many of the songs explore questions related to the essence of life, the sources of our happiness, our driving forces, ambitions, emotions, and the very purpose of our existence. The tracks on this album are designed to touch upon the diverse aspects of life and the internal processes we undergo, all encapsulated within an immersive listening experience.”
In addition to the album, Eric Nam has unveiled the music video for “Only For A Moment.”
This marks the second music video release from the album, following “Don’t Leave Yet.” Eric was actively involved in both the screenwriting and creative direction of these videos, collaborating with the creative team at 37th Degree (BTS, NewJeans).
Eric also announced his upcoming House on a Hill World Tour, which will feature over 80 shows across North America, Latin America, the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. The North American leg of the tour is set to kick off on September 21 in Orlando and will include stops in cities such as Washington DC, New York, and Los Angeles, concluding in Houston on December 3.
