After her successful hosting in Queendom 2, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon is coming back to MNET for the spin-off of the musical series entitled Queendom Puzzle. The announcement of her reprising her role in the show is posted in the MNET’s social media account in April 24.
Meanwhile, the first teaser of Queendom Puzzle was released last April 10 in MNET’s YouTube channel.
Fans are speculating that the musical reality show will feature members from different girl groups and in the end, they will be only seven to be included in the final act. In the teaser trailer it also feature songs from Blackpink (Kill This Love), Girls’ Generations (The Boys), Le Sserafim (Fearless), WJSN (As You Wish), (G)I-DLE (Tomboy), Nonstop (Oh My Girl), STAYC (ASAP), IZ*ONE (Fiesta), and Red Velvet (Bad Boy).
The first line up of the performers joining the competition will be revealed in May as mentioned in the teaser including the code “IURP WZHQWB HLJKW WR VHYHQ”
During the first season of Queendom in 2019, Mamamoo won the competition and other contestants include AOA, Lovelyz, Oh My Girl, (G)I-dle, and Park Bom from 2NE1 who was competing alone. While in season 2, WJSN won the competition ahead of Hyolyn, Viviz, Brave Girls, Loona, and Kep1er.
Queendom Puzzle is set to premiere in June.
