“Netflix has officially announced the premiere of the 6th season of the British anthology series, Black Mirror, which is set to debut in June. Created by Charlie Brooker, the series contains individual episodes that explore a diverse range of genres, depicting near-future dystopias with sci-fi technology. Similar to the horror sci-fi show, The Twilight Zone, which aired from 1959 to 1964, Black Mirror touches on contemporary social issues.
Black Mirror began in 2011 with two seasons that also aired on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, in addition to being available on Netflix. However, from season 3 in 2014 until season 5 in 2019, it was exclusively streamed on Netflix including the interactive film Bandersnatch.
With the teaser trailer posted in the social media accounts of Netflix including the Black Mirror, cast members include Aaron Paul, Anjana Vasan, Annie Murphy, Auden Thornton, Ben Barnes, Clara Rugaard, Daniel Portman, Danny Ramirez, David Shields, Himesh Patel, John Hannah, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Monica Dolan, Myha’la Herrold, Paapa Essiedu, Rob Delaney, Rory Culkin, Salma Hayek Pinault, Samuel Blenkin and Zazie Beetz. Which was also revealed by Brooker in Tudum, Netflix’s blog.
From season 1 to 5, some notable episodes include Nosedive, Black Museum, White Bear, San Junipero, Crocodile, Arkangel, Men Against Fire, The Waldo Moment, Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too, Hated in the Nation, and USS Callister.
And Season 6 of Black Mirror will be offering more episodes that will be instantly become fan favorite.
