Kapuso actor Alden Richards and Kapamilya actress Julia Montes are teaming up for a romantic drama film under GMA Pictures entitled Five Break-ups and a Romance in collaboration with Cornerstone Studios and MYRIAD Corporation.
Written and directed by Irene Villamor, the writer behind the films Meet me in St. Gallen and Ulan.
During the announcement, it was revealed that Alden will be playing the role of a easy go lucky Lance Sandoval while Julia will be Justine, a goal driven career woman.
The said film is still on production and cinema release will be announced very soon.
This is the second movie of Alden with a Kapamilya actress, last is with Kathryn Bernardo for the box office movie Hello, Love, Goodbye under Star Cinema and directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
Meanwhile, MYRIAD Corporation is the multimedia company founded by Alden.
