After his remarkable performance as Z in “The Greatest Love”, Joshua Garcia will soon return in ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold as Jopet in “The Good Son”. The show was reportedly to replace The Better Half that stars Shaina Magdayao, Denise Laurel, Carlo Aquino, and JC de Vera. Joshua will be joined by the stellar cast namely Alber Martinez, Eula Valdez, John Estrada, Mylene Dizon, Ronnie Lazaro, and Jeric Raval.
The story will center in the life of Jopet’s family whereas the sudden death of his father (Albert) will bring them to a life changing revelation and that is the other family. How will it change his outlook to his deceased father whom he idolized after it was revealed that they are not the real family and that secret was hidden from him for so long.

“The Good Son” also stars McCoy de Leon, Elisse Joson, Nash Aguas, Alexa Ilacad and Ria Atayde. Previously during the official announcement of the cast Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona will be joning Joshua in the lead but due to schedule conflict, Jerome Ponce will be playing the role of Enzo, Joshua’s step brother in the series and Loisa Andalio as Hazel, Joshua’s co-ex housemate in Pinoy Big Brother All In.
“The Good Son” is directed by Manny Palo under Dreamscape and ABS-CBN.
