MAGPASIKAT becomes a yearly tradition of It’s Showtime every anniversary where hosts will be competing to one another and win cash prizes that they will be giving to their chosen charity. And on the 7th anniversary of It’s Showtime, the hosts will be working with the Hashtags and GirlTrends as additional members of their group at the same time they need to incorporate the scoreboard in their performance. The scoreboard were use every time there’s a competition in the show where It’s Showtime gained overwhelming followers.
They were divided into five groups namely Team of Ryan Bang and Billy Crawford, Team Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navaro, Team Karylle, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz, Team Anne Curtis, Joey Marquez and Amy Perez-Castillo and Team Vice Ganda and Kim Atienza.
Billy and Ryan kicked off with a performance where Ryan was heading the group but in the end he was chasing the fake Billy whom he thought was offended after kissing him and doing a fear factor kind of game. While Ryan chaing the fake Billy, Billy was performing inside the studio together some of the members of GirlTrends and Hashtags.
Team Jhong and Vhong followed with a action-packed and hologram filled performance together with some member of GirlTrends and Hashtags. In the end of the performance they give their salute to all hard working janitors.
Music Festival is the theme of the group of Karylle, Jugs, Teddy and Mariel. They produce original songs and giving a concert like performance that the viewers truly enjoy.
Anne never failed to amaze the viwers with her death-defying pefromance together with Amy and Joey. While Amy and Joey are lifted on air with harness while doing some interpretative performance, Anne was on the ELJ Building with some of the GirlTrends doing a routine while on a suspension .
Lastly, after being pressured by his fellow hosts Vice together with Kuya Kim gave a heartwarming performance that talk about LGBT with the beautiful music of Coldplay entitled Fix You.
This year’s judges include musician Mel Villena, beauty queen and actress Precious Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz, actress and TV host Jolina Magdangal-Escueta, director Nick Olanka and Senator Sonny Angara. Who will be the winner is Magpasikat 2016? Keep posted!
