It is just like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, when Apple finally revealed the much awaited iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus that finally answer all the speculation. Apple CEO Tim Cook in San Francisco announced in September 7 the new Apple devices namely iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Watch Series 2.
Yes, it is true that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus doesn’t have an earphone jack to plug in your audio accessories including your old earpods. Instead of the pointed and round audio plug, the earpods are included in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus boxes but it has a Lightning port audio connection. So it will be hard to listen to music at the same time charging your device. For those who still want to use their earphones, Apple is including a 3.5mm to Lightning adapter in the box.
This is Apple’s way to the taptic engine, speakers and dual-lens cameras. Like other other smartphones, which I will not mention, the iPhone 7 Plus (only) will have dual camera; one lens is a 1X wide-angle lens and the other is a 2X zoom telephoto lens. Camera features include DSLR-style depth. Both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have 12 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a six-element lens to make it even better for shooting photos and videos in low light. Meanwhile for Facetime it has 7MP front HD camera.
Highlighting the A10 Fusion chip, the new iPhone devices promise users especially wall huggers and powerbank lovers longer battery life. Device owners can enjoy the usual fast processing without using much of the power.
The new iPhone devices is now splash and water resistant but not water proof. It can survive if you accidentally drop your phone in the sink or toilet, which I don’t know why you will do it but Apple ensure that it will survive but going in the pool will not. Running in the new iOs 10 software, iPhone 7has 4.7-inch Retina Display while iPhone 7 Plus has 5.5 inches.
Adding to the signature silver, gold, and rose gold finishes are jet black that is glossy and black that is matte finish. Say goodbye to the Spacey Gray. iPhone 7 starts at $649 and iPhone 7 Plus at $769. Local price varies but I am looking forward to the Postpaid and Infinity Plan that SMART will offer.
