Aside from the trending loveteam and real life couple James Reid and Nadile Lustre or popularly known as JaDine, OPM icon Gary Valenciano together with his son Gab will be joining the MTV Music Evolution Manila 2016 that will happen on June 24 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Aside from the Pinoy acts, MTV Music Evo Manila 2016 will feature L.A.-grown electric dance trio Far East Movement, iconic international pop band and prolific hit-maker OneRepublic, American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha, and Korea’s favorite K-pop idol female group, Apink.
Gary is a multi-awarded singer-songwriter, TV host, producer and dance chorographer that released over 32 albums that includes timeless songs namely “Di Bale Na Lang”, “Hataw na”, ‘”Eto Na Naman”, “Sana Maulit Muli’”and “Shout for Joy” and many more. Meanwhile, his son Gab has made his name in the entertainment industry for being also a percussionist, musician, producer, arranger and choreographer. He is known with the title “Super Selfie King” from his self-edited, produced and scored YouTube Channel, which garners multi-million views.
Lastly, the Far East Movement (FM) has always had dance music in their DNA, having established their roots in dance early on with their break-out hit “Like a G6” which landed No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Aside from that they are the group behind the soundtrack of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift entitled “Round Round” and other songs including “Rocketeer”, “2 Is Better”, “2gether” and “If I Was You (OMG)”.
It will be hosted by MTV Asia VJs Alan Wong and Hanli Hoefer will be hosting the event, along with MTV Pinoy VJs Yassi Pressman and Andre Paras.
