Airing starting January 23, Pilipinas Got Talent will return in the Kapamilya network for the season 5 together with three new judges Angel Locsin, Robin Padilla and Vice Ganda to join Freddie M. Garcia or popularly known as FMG. Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford will reprise their roles as hosts of the talent reality show.
Aside from the three new judges, another addition in the Pilipinas Got Talent Season 5 is the golden buzzer. The golden buzzer was introduced in the Asia’s Got Talent and Filipino acts Gerphil Flores, The Junior New System and the champion El Gamma Penumbra. It is also used in British Got Talent and America’s Got Talent.
The Golden Buzzer will help the contestant easily jump to the next level and save themselves from the elimination. There will be golden buzzer per category from the audition and semi-finals. Judges will only have 1 golden buzzer power each per category.
Pilipinas Got Talent will air on ABS-CBN Saturdays after Maalaala Mo Kaya and Sundays after Rated K starting Jan. 23 and 24.
