Before the It’s Showtime 6th Anniversary concluded last October 24, Vice Ganda together with the rest of the hosts thanked the viewers for the unwavering support for the show. Vice had the chance to answer the issue regarding the ratings and the posts of the netizens on social media, which he was mentioned with it. He started with the message that being with the show is a blessing for him and being a blessing to others giving them the entertainment that the Kapamilyas wanted. He recalled that they were asked to move on noontime slot. According to him they refuse to move from morning slot to noontime because they cannot compete with Eat Bulaga. And according to Vice, the management said that they are moving to noontime timeslot not because they are competing Eat Bulaga but joining them to give the TV viewers the fun and enjoyment of noontime viewing.
Vice said from the start they are not competing with Eat Bulaga and they already accept the fact that they are already defeated in terms of ratings. But they never stop in doing the show because they wanted to continue their main objective and that is to make everyone happy especially their fans and the people who go to their studio. Vice said that they will never stop as long as there is one person believing in them.
He shared that they are here because they want everyone to be happy, which was the message in the door of the It’s Showtime studio and in the backstage. And he reminded everyone not to fight to one another in social media on who is the number 1 show. He said that they are not fighting with Eat Bulaga’s team because in real life they are friends.
