From the brilliant minds that created Glee and American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan bring the star-studded dark comedy TV series entitled Scream Queens and it will be aired in US with simultaneous broadcast in the Philippines exclusively on ETC. The TV series stars Emma, Skyler Samuels, Lea Michele, Glen Powell, Diego Boneta, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Lucien Laviscount, Oliver Hudson, Nasim Pedrad, Billie Lourd and Ariana Grande. The series will premiere on September 23 at 4PM with encore at 9PM. Succeeding episodes will air every Wednesday on the same time slots.
Scream Queens follows the dark story and secrets of Kappa Kappa Tau sorority now headed by Chanel played by Roberts a student in Wallace University. The sorority was now haunted by a person disguised as a red devil and trying to kill them one by one. The list of the red devil became longer now that KKT become open to every female students who wanted to join. Including the “outcasts” like Hester (Michelle) popularly known as Neckbrace because of her scoliosis, Grace (Samuels), Zayday (Palmer), and more. After witnessing an accident they need to join forces to know the truth and save themselves from the unknown killer – the red devil.
The TV series is a perfect combination of horror and comedy where some funny and witty scenes were inserted in serious scenes that make the story more appealing and interesting at the same time. This is the series where I see big young stars together even including singers Arianna Grande and Nick Jonas doing roles and making fun of themselves. With the storyline and genre, Scream Queens can easily get the attention of the younger TV viewers and even oldies. Because we can all relate with the story about schools, mean girls, bullies and wannabees.
