After bringing some of the Disney heroes and villains in live action films, Walt Disney through its Disney Channel releases another twist on our favorite fairytale characters we all grow up with. On September 13, Disney will be bringing an original movie for TV entitled Descendants and will be also available in Disney Channel Southeast Asia. Descendants, answers the question what’s next after happy ever after of our favorite princesses and what happen to the villain after being vanquished.
Descendants, gives a new twist in the lives of the iconic Disney super villains including Maleficent of Sleeping Beauty, Evil Queen of Snow White, Jafar of Aladdin and Cruella de Vil of 101 Dalmatians. Of course they will also touch on the lives of Belle and Beast of Beauty and The Beast, Fairy God Mother of Cinderella and Snow White of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. The film for TV will introduce as to Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos the children of Maleficent, Evil Queen, Javar and Cruella given a chance to be in kingdom of Auradon for another chance to live another live after being with their parents being vanquished in a far land.
The story will also introduce as to Ben, son of Belle and Beast; Audrey daughter of Aurora and Prince Philip, Lonnie the daughter of Fa Mulan and Li Shang, Jane the daughter of the Fairy God Mother, Doug the son of Dopey one of Snow White’s dwarves and Chad the son of Cinderella and Prince Charming.
Descendant will give the viewers who followed the story of the Disney characters a new perspective, from comparing them with their parents to the battle between good and evil. Being it is a musical show of Disney, aside from the catchy songs that everyone will surely love, it gives that nostalgic feeling on how the new generations of Disney characters connect and disconnect with their parents that gives that comical twist. If you love High School Musical and Glee, better watch this Disney presentation because it brings back the childhood memories in you and good for your children of course.
