Competing in the Phablet area, Starmobile introduces the Jump Neo that has SRP of Php 3,990, making it the affordable Android Lollipop Phablet. Did I mention that it has Android Lollipop operating system? Yed, it does have the latest Android 5.0 operating system running in 1 GB Ram and 1.3GHz Quad Core ARM Cortex-A7 processor. It gives a smooth navigation for device owners who usually use their smartphones for voice and text messaging, occasional web browsing, social media posting and playing games like Clash Of Clans and Summoners War, which popular among Filipino mobile users.
In terms of multimedia, the Starmobile Jump Neo has 2MP front camera and 5MP with auto focus and flash rear camera. But it doesn’t mean that it only has 5MP camera, it will not give you better photos that worth sharing on social media. Here are some photos I captured earlier with Sun Flower of Plant VS Zombies as my model.
The Starmobile Jump Neo has an internal memory of 8GB, which more than 5GB will be available for use. It also accommodates external memory up to 32GB. With the 2400 mAh detachable battery it can give you 8 hours talk time and 400 hrs. standby time plus it has intelligent power saving function that will notify you on which apps caused battery draining.
And if you are the type that family members, friends and co-workers usually borrows your device, it has Data Protection features that prevent others to access certain apps, photos, documents, contacts and others with the unique pattern that will limit them to access it. Screen Pinning will limit the functionality of apps for other users.
Other features include FM Radio, GPS + A-GPS, and OTA Update. It also has the two-tap sleep and open features for quick glance on the notification that you miss. The packaging includes the unit, flat usb cord, which I love because it doesn’t tangle, wall charger, earphone with microphone, plastic case, screen guard protector, quick start guide and warranty card.
The Starmobile Jump Neo is available in all Starmobile experience stores nationwide, authorized dealers and also in SMART under Surf Plus Plan 399.
If you are ASKing me if it’s worth the money? I say yes I am giving it 7 out 10 approval ratings because it has an updated version of Android plus the price being it is a Phablet. It is worth the money, which you can use, or the phone you can give to your child who is in school.
