After the announcement of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2015 committee last June where they revealed the list of the movies included in the annual film fest on December, the film The Beauty and the Bestie of Star Cinema that was included in the list of entries had their story conference last July 14. The comedy film stars the phenomenal box office comedy actor Vice Ganda and award winning primetime king Coco Martin under the direction of Wenn V. Deramas.
Two days after the storycon of the film Beauty and the Bestie, last July 16 Vice and Coco had their first shooting day of their film. Vice posted in his official Instagram account a photo of him with Coco and Direk Wenn on the set of the movie they are working.
Beauty and the Bestie also stars Badji Mortiz, Jovit Baldivino, Marcelito Pomoy, Bugoy Drilon, and Alonzo Muhlach.
