Twenty-three years ago, PepsiCo through their sports drink Gatorade launched a campaign to pay tribute to the hardworking athletes that became idols of the youth in helping them reached their dream. One of the campaigns was Be Like Mike, to give tribute to the NBA legend Michael Jordan where his story became inspiration to all globally in 1992.
Now, in celebration of the golden years of Gatorade they are bringing back the #BeLikeMike campaign to inspire more people especially the youth to embrace sportsmanship and continue to reach for their dream. They will be releasing the digitally remastered version of the Be Like Mike TV commercial. Aside from that Gatorade invites everyone to join the Be Like Mike campaign to upload their videos and photos following the inspiration if Be Like Mike and include the hashtag, Winners with the most creative posts will win special Be Like Mike premium items.
