For 80’s and early 90’s children you may know Junix Inocian as Kuya Mario in the children oriented show Batibot that aired in Batibot. He was one of the main cast of the show together of Kuya Bodjie played by Bodjie Pascua and Ate Sienna played by Sienna Olaso together with the puppets Pong Pagong and Kiko Matsing. , Junix Inocian was reported that he passed away at the age of 64 in United Kingdom last June 13. His widow Luna and son JC announced the news to their friends in the respective Facebook accounts. JC said that he thanked everyone who sent their condolences to their family along with their prayers.
Report says that the body of Junix’s body was found in London home last Saturday after he failed to show up in the shooting of his film. The authorities are still investigating the cause of his death.
Junix, aside from being a mainstay in Batibot he was one of the original cast of Cameron Mackintosh’s Miss Saigon in 1989 together with Lea Salonga. He played the role of the Engineer in the musical. He also played the role Old Deuteronomy in Cats at the New London Theatre.
One of the local and recent musical that Junix did was the Jekyll and Hyde in 2012 for Repertory Philippines.
