2 years after the birth of their first baby, Prince George, the royal family of Prince William and his wife Kate welcome their second baby and it’s a girl. Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to healthy baby girl that weighs 8lbs 3oz at the St Mary’s Hospital in Paddinton, London in the morning of May 2.
Kate delivered the baby 8.34am as reported by the Kensington Palace through Twitter. Few hours after giving birth of Kate, Prince William together with his son Prince George wave their hands to the supporters and members of the media waiting for updates and the chance to see the newly born princess.
Together with their princess, Prince William and Kate left the St Mary’s Hospital on the same day with short photo ops in in front of the stairs of the hospital where they did the same thing during the birth of Prince George. Prince William will be returning to work on June 1 after being on leave from his job as an air ambulance pilot last April 21 to be with his wife.
Up to date, Prince William hasn’t revealed the name of the newly born princess. It took a week for the announcement of William’s name while his father Charles took 1 month before the announcement.
Their daughter is now he fourth in the line for the British throne after Queen Elizabeth II. First is Prince Charles, the eldest son of the Queen, follows by the eldest son Prince William and his eldest son Prince George and now the newly born princess.
