It is official; the much-awaited Philippine adaptation of the Colombian telenovela that aired on ABS-CBN in 2007 will be airing on Primetime Bida starting June 1 before TV Patrol. Pasion de Amor will replace Inday Bote that’s now on its final week. Pasion de Amor stars Jake Cuenca, Ejay Falcon, Joseph Marco, Ellen Adarna, Coleen Garcia and newest Kapamilya Arci Munoz.
Pasion de Amor will be telling a love story of the Samonte brothers and Elizondo sisters. But before the love stories unfold, the Samontes are planning to avenge the death of their sister and they the Elizondos will be the persons who will be facing their revenge. Jake will be playing the elder Samonte named Juan, Ejay as Oscar and Joseph as Franco. Ingrid Dela Paz will be playing the role of Olivia who fell in love with the Elizondo patriarch named Bernardo (Ronaldo Valdez).
Gabriela (Teresa Loyzaga), the Elizondo matriarch discovered the affair of Bernardo and Olivia and plot on their death. Bernardo by a planned accident, while Olivia in the hands of the men that Gabriela hired to kill her. The Samontes discovered what Gabriela did to their sister and promise themselves to avenge for her. They entered the Hacienda Elizondo as workers and their goal is to seduce the Elizondo sisters namely Norma (Arci), Sari (Ellen) and Jamie (Coleen) and then do their sweetest revenge for their sister.
