Counting down to the premiere of the modernized storytelling of the great love of Yna and Angelo in Pangako Sa’Yo on May 25 on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida, the Kapamilya Network and Star Creatives releases the trailer and poster of the much-awaited comeback of the phenomenal loveteam of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla popularly known as KathNiel. The trailer gives the viewers a glimpse of the modern version of the three characters that have a huge impact to the lives of Yna and Angelo. They are Amor de Jesus (Jodi Sta. Maria), Eduardo Beunavista (Ian Veneracion) and Claudia Zalameda (Angelica Panganiban).
Coming from the original cast of 2000, the characters of Amor and Eduardo cross paths because Amor is one of the maids of the Beunavistas. They became connected when Eduardo painted and confessed love to Amor. But it didn’t happen because Eduardo was forced to marry Claudia because of a political reason that will benefit their family. And the 2015 version gives a new twist to the character of the tree giving a modern look and more backstory so we can understand them deeply. Watch the trailer her:
Yna and Angelo were previously played by Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales or popularly known as the phenomenal love team EchoTin during their generation. And the only love team can give justice to the “kilig” and love story of Yna and Angelo are Kathryn and Daniel that have already proved themselves in hit teleseryes Princess And I, and Got To Believe including their box-office films Must Be… Love, She’s Dating the Gangster and Crazy Beautiful You under Star Cinema.
Rory B. Quintos, Olivia M. Lamasan and Dado S. Lumibao will direct the 2015 version of Pangako Sa’Yo.
