Sometimes it is hard to find words to express what we feel that why we rather use stickers as substitute. This is what we usually do when we chat on Viber we all love that cute waving orange tabby cat, the red kiss mark, the cool dog and the rocker chic with the violet hair. They became the substitute of our words to say how we miss, love or hate the person we are chatting on the other line. But we all know they are not enough to say our words and there are growing demands on new stickers to express our emotions. That’s why Viber opened their doors once again to amateur and professional graphic designers to join the “Create Viber’s Sticky Fingers Mascot” contest
The contest encourages amateur and professional graphic designers to create their characters that conveys emotions and can be used in a Viber conversation. The character must also feature eyes and a face. Entries must be submitted until Thursday, April 16 at 1AM (Philippine Time) through www.viber.com/StickyFingers/Info.
There will be 10 finalists that will be chosen by Viber and their panel of judges and will receive $1,000. And from 10 finalists one overall artist will be selected to receive the opportunity to work with the Viber design studio to develop their character into sticker packs, revenue share for every sticker sold of their character design and exposure across Viber’s social media channels.
Viber is giving $500 to the Most Shared submission, so be sure to upload your entry and share your submission page with your friends.
Viber has 516 million users sent more than 22 billion stickers. The chat app can be downloaded on Apple, Android and Window devices. It is also available on Mac and Desktop. To know more visit www.viber.com.
