After it aired its last episode for season 4 last September 28, 2013 with Luis Manzano as the host of the show, Kapamilya Deal or No Deal returns to ABS-CBN this year. It was reported that the show would be replacement of either Bet On Your Baby of Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo or The Singing Bee of Roderick Paulate and Amy Perez now on its final week on their respective timeslot. Yet the network didn’t confirm which timeslot it will air if it will be airing on February 9 with Luis reprising his hosting for the show.
The teaser of the Kapamilya Deal or No Deal was released in the 3rd week of January showing Luis looking for the 24K girls who used to carry the briefcases that contains the amount of money that reflects on the money board. Watch the teaser below.
Before January ended, another teaser was released showing a silhouette of individuals carrying the briefcases. They are not the 24K girls we used to know instead it shows different persons which according to the teaser that we know them. They call is the 24K Stars.
With Php 2M as the highest amount and Php 1 as the lowest amount in the one of the briefcases, will there be changes this season? Which according to Luis it will be a crazy season, which we will look forward on its airing.
Kapamilya Deal or No Deal is under the Deal or No Deal franchise of Endemol. Kris Aquino previously hosted it from 2006 to 2009 and it was given to Luis on 2012. During the time of Kris, there are 26 girls known as 26K that holds the briefcases and it was trimmed to 24 girls known as 24K Girls. This year it will be 24K Stars which will be revealed soon on its airing on ABS-CBN.
